A birth house for mothers and babies

During the devastating earthquake in 2015, the hospital in Namjung, Nepal, was completely destroyed and the nearest village is about six hours’ walk away. A disastrous situation for the people, especially for the expectant mothers. A mother-child health center is now being built there. This is made possible by the voluntary commitment of Henkel employee Susanne Volkmann and the MIT initiative of Henkel.

Since 2013, Susanne Volkmann has continued her commitment to this cause by supporting children in rural areas and their schools with aid. This has already resulted in various sponsorships.
